BaseFood has its R&D Center and Manufacturing based in Malaysia. We are company led by a team of multi-disciplinary experts in food-tech, bio-tech, applied chemistry, engineering and culinary arts, all passionate about what they do, who have effectively led products from conception to full scale production.

We Make Sweetness Better
Our first product Sugalose®, a solution for sugar reduction made from real cane sugar infusion. With our proprietary technology Sugalose® improves the efficiency of sugar delivery to the sweet taste receptors and enhances the perception of sweetness, enabling considerable sugar reduction without compromising taste, mouthfeel, or texture. Independent consumer tests and expert sensory panel tests have confirmed that, when using Sugalose® , it is possible to reduce 50 - 98% of the sugar content in an extensive range of food products while retaining consumer taste preferences.
